Justin and the Werloobee

FACEPAINT was thrilled to release Justin and the Werloobee, a 3-D animated adaptation of our bullying-awareness book, Fruit of the Vine, in 2021. This short film is geared towards children ages 5 to 12, but will delight kids and “used to be kids” of all ages!

In Justin and the Werloobee a young boy (Justin!), is bullied by his classmates. In a dream, he finds himself on a beach where he meets a magical snake who grants him three wishes. Instead of using the wishes for his own good, he kindly makes a wish for a needy creature he meets on the beach. Watch the trailer to find out what happens next to Justin, in “real life,” and how a bystander helps put a stop to ostracism and alienation.

We are honored that Justin and the Werloobee has been selected for over 300 film festivals and has received over 140 festival awards!

We are grateful for the wonderful feedback we received on this video!
